This is a new computer and thus a new install of Office - Word No previous versions of Office on this machine. Quite suddenly all of my Word documents are opening in compatibility mode even new documents created and saved in Word I have done the File, Info, Check issues, Compatibility and unchecked microsofft previous document versions - 97,and restarted machine. When restarted, I check the compatibility box and one or all rechecked as a default.
Oh, have also checked for Normal. Where is it located? One of the web articles on this problem indicated that the Normal.
Would really appreciate any guidance on this as I am in the middle of a project. Need to resolve quickly.
